The beach is amazing. The water sports were excellent. The hotel is cozy and enjoyable. Rooms are big enough and comfortable. Staff members are honest and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Wael El Sayed for his professionalism dealing with issues. Also Executive Chef Mahmoud for his friendliness, and, waiter Waleed for his welcoming smile and assistance.

It’s a very nice resort, the common areas are perfect and staff is absolutely amazing. The beach is also very beautiful, it has a relaxing and chill vibe. Additionally, I am celiac and Mahmoud was the best by showing me everyday (in all meals) what contained or not gluten in the buffet. Honestly, I don’t have enough words to thank his patience and kindness. All in all, the hotel offers a good variety of tasty options even without gluten. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it.

The price and quality are well balanced. The service is nice, and we received a free upgrade for the children's room (we traveled as a group of four), so we had chalets next to each other. We were also granted a free dinner at the Brazilian restaurant in the resort. There are small coral reefs in front of the hotel (and near the old broken pier on the left side) with many colorful fish.

1. Location. Sahl Hashees comprises a nice sheltered bay (and also a part of the coast towards north) and the hotel is placed in the best spot for sun and sea. A nicely paved road runs aside the whole bay next to the shore. You can walk or go by bike for 6/7 kms with no traffic except for few golf like e-cart. There is a recently built residential village aside with shops bars and restaurants. You can walk there as well as in nearby resorts along the bay. You don't feel like being secluded or separated from the outer world as it may happen in beach resorts. 2. Quite and comfortable. Only a little entertainment and music thus little noise which is ideal for me. Comfortable rooms albeit some are a bit old dated. Good bedding. Excellent breakfast, a bit less varied are the main meals. 3. Good price quality ratio. I have had the chance to visit some similar resorts nearby and some did not appear to me to be in line with the higher price they requested at the time I have made the booking and have chosen this one. I absolutely recommend this establishment

the staff are the greatest asset here. All lovely people, nothing is too much trouble. The relaxing area on the beach was new to me, it is excellent. No animation or sales people allowed, just peace and quiet. It is like a second home. I'm booked already for my next visit.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my wife and we loved it! Pros were- Direct access to the beach, room view, facilities were good and above all staff were amazing with special mention to the F&B staff that were always going above and beyond to satisfy all customers. They always ensured that all guests are getting their needs (foods or drinks) around the O’clock. Special thanks to Hakim that personally looked after us almost around the whole stay, the guy is just simply amazing!

The staff are so friendly. They are all lovely..Our favourite staff member Alaa Mahmoud whose name tag says Ali was not working during the two weeks we stayed. Ahmed Mahmod in the restaurant is great. I don't know how he can be aware of so many things going on at the same time. Mahmoud the juice guy made sure we got our freshly squeezed juices. Always joking. One of the Animation/ Activities team does an incredible job too. He invested in our well being every day and made sure we were having fun. I forgot his name. He is a tall Egyptian with lots of curly hair. He was the heart of the team. Also the brains, calculating the darts scores in the fun tournaments.

The hotel may be a little old, but it hasn't lost its charm. The hotel is quit wide so the beach is very wide. You don't lie head to head. There are always free loungers. The lobby, as well as the entire complex itself, is very beautiful. The restaurant too. The food was excellent. But the best thing about the hotel is its staff. Whether in service, or the cleaning staff, or the bar staff, or the restaurant manager, everyone was incredibly nice, helpful and polite. I've never experienced anything like it in my many holidays in Egypt. Thank you! And at the New Year's Eve party, everyone outdid themselves. I've never seen such a lavish dessert buffet. It was simply the best holiday in Egypt so far.
